16 Years of Care—Now With Peace of Mind

George

For 16 years, I’ve cared for my son with all the love I have—but Services Offered From Above gave me something priceless: the ability to keep doing it without the weight of financial stress. As a dad in my 70s, I never imagined I could be paid to provide the same nurturing care I’ve given since the day he was born. SOFA didn’t just offer relief; they honored my role as his father and his caregiver. This isn’t just a program. It’s a blessing. They see the value in keeping families together, and they’ve walked alongside us with respect, support, and real practical help. Now, I get to focus on what matters most: loving my son, just as I always have—but with peace of mind knowing SOFA has our backs.

I Can Finally Breathe

Taylor

Before SOFA, I couldn’t focus on work for more than five minutes without worrying about my daughter’s oxygen levels. Now, a skilled nurse tends to her medical needs while I work from home—but what amazes me most is the love my little one receives. The way her face lights up when her caregiver walks in, the gentle way they adjust her tubing while singing her favorite song… It’s more than ‘care.’ It’s a transfer of love, and I see it every day. For the first time since her diagnosis, I can truly relax.

They Show Up—Every Day, With Joy

Kendra

As a single mom, I used to dread mornings and evenings—the lifting, the bathing, the endless ‘what ifs’ if I couldn’t be there. SOFA changed everything. Their team arrives
daily with such dedication: helping my child get ready for school, preparing meals, even tucking them into bed at night. But it’s not just the help—it’s how they do it. They laugh with us, remember my child’s favorite stories, and treat us like family. For the first time in years, I don’t feel alone in this.

They Fought for Us—Like Family

Danyelle

SOFA didn’t just provide care—they fought for us. For
close to a year, their administration worked tirelessly to reactivate my child’s Medicaid, all while I juggled two toddlers and a newborn. They never treated us like a ‘case.’ They asked about all my kids, brought groceries when I was overwhelmed, and reminded me, ‘Your whole family matters.’ That’s the SOFA difference: they care about the child and the household that loves them.

More Than a Paycheck

Antoinette

You can tell when someone’s heart is in their work. Our SOFA nurse arrives on time, always with a warm smile and a ‘How’s your day been?’ She remembers my child’s favorite blanket, notices subtle changes in their breathing, and stays late if storms make me nervous. It’s not about the paycheck—it’s the way she kneels to eye level to talk to my child, or how she hugs me when I’m exhausted. This isn’t just a service. It’s an extension of our family.
